Tillandsia Ionantha Pink Beauty is a different clone to the regular ionantha you see. This plant is pink even when not in flower, it does need good light to bring out the colour. This plant is easy care and does well both indoors and outdoors, these are true epiphytes as they are commonly found growing attached to trees or rocks. They take up their nutrients through their leaves and the roots are purely used for clinging to surfaces. These plants turn a bright pink when they go into flowering and start to pup afterwards forming a clump.

Note: Plant in picture is what you will get, this plant comes as a loose plant, so you have the freedom to use it in displays etc. Plant 2 has a bit more leaf burn hence the price difference. These are seldomly offered and they have a unique shape compared to other ionantha. Las pictures shows some different varieties and ages. 

Watering

Misting twice a week, Rainwater is ideal but tap water is sufficient, for best results mist with dilute orchid food during growing season and allow plants to dry upside down to prevent rot. These plant like good airflow.
