Tillandsia seleriana
Tillandsia seleriana. This plant does well both indoors and outdoors, these are true epiphytes as they are commonly found growing attached to trees or rocks. They take up their nutrients through their leaves and the roots are purely used for clinging to surfaces. This plant forms a pseudobulb where the leaves make a bulbous base. This makes this plant more susceptible to rot thus ideally should be grown inside.
This plant comes mounted and is the plant in the picture and is the one you will be getting.
Note: These plants were grown outdoors and the conditions fluctuate which leads to some imperfections such as brown tips.
Watering
Misting twice a week, Rainwater is ideal but tap water is sufficient, for best results mist with dilute orchid food during growing season and allow plants to dry upside down to prevent rot. These plant like good airflow.
