Tillandsia Duratii - Loose Plant
This plant does well both indoors and outdoors, these are true epiphytes as they are commonly found growing attached to trees or rocks. They take up their nutrients through their leaves and the roots are purely used for clinging to surfaces.
Note: Plant in picture is what you will get, this plant comes as a loose plant, but does have some wire so you can hang it. This plant is very seldomly offered and if they are they are usually a lot smaller than this plant. This is a mature specimen that has already flowered. This plant produces beautiful lilac and white flowers that are scented. Flowers canas can be seen in the last 2 pictures.
Watering
Misting twice a week, Rainwater is ideal but tap water is sufficient, for best results mist with dilute orchid food during growing season and allow plants to dry upside down to prevent rot. These plant like good airflow.
