This is a great gift or starter pack for anyone getting into airplants for the first time. This pack comes with two airplants (Tillandsia bergeri) and a lovely Burgon and Ball air plant dish. The dish is 7cm across and 3cm high.

Tillandsia bergeri is an easy growing air plant. This plant does well both indoors and outdoors, these are true epiphytes as they are commonly found growing attached to trees or rocks. They take up their nutrients through their leaves and the roots are purely used for clinging to surfaces. When they go into flowering they will start to pup afterwards forming a clump. The flowers are a lovely lavender colour and they come out in spring.

This plant comes loose and are approximately 10cm wide and 10cm tall. The plant in the picture is the one you will be getting.

Watering

Misting twice a week, Rainwater is ideal but tap water is sufficient, for best results mist with dilute orchid food during growing season and allow plants to dry upside down to prevent rot. These plant like good airflow.

Indirect lighting
